This series of portraits deals with remembering, recollection and stories. Firefighters often recount the stories of incidents they have attended. These stories can be humorous but others are of a traumatic nature that leave a lasting impact on the firefighter. To locate the portraits firefighters were asked to recall an incident that stuck in their mind, which was then recorded and the portrait was made where the incident happened.
